Washing machine repair.

A washer that stops mid-cycle leaves more than laundry unfinished. Tell us where the cycle stops, what you hear and whether an error appears. We use those details to guide the diagnosis.

Start with what you notice

What is your appliance doing?

01

Water stays in the drum

Note whether the machine tries to drain and whether the door remains locked. Do not force the door open while water is inside.

02

Leaks during a cycle

The timing and location of a leak matter. Tell us whether water appears during filling, washing or draining, and stop using a leaking appliance.

03

Won’t spin or shakes excessively

Describe the load, any unusual sound and the point at which the machine stops. These observations help distinguish installation, drive and control concerns.

The TECA approach

Find the fault behind the failed cycle.

We assess the reported fault alongside drainage, drive, door-lock and control operation as appropriate for the model. The recommendation explains the findings, required parts and whether the repair makes practical sense.

DIAGNOSTIC FOCUS
  1. Fill and drain operation
  2. Door lock and cycle behaviour
  3. Drive, suspension and unusual movement
  4. Error history and model-specific control checks

Relevant checks depend on the model and reported symptoms.

Before we arrive

Make the first visit more useful.

Record the exact error code and photograph the model label around the door or under the lid if accessible. Leave the machine in place. Let us know if it is stacked, built into cabinetry or difficult to reach.

Your questions

Before you book

Can you service a stacked washer?+

Share a photo of the full installation first. Access and any need to separate the appliances must be discussed before the appointment.

Should I keep restarting the cycle?+

Stop using the washer if it leaks, makes a severe mechanical noise or trips the breaker. Record the symptoms instead of repeatedly restarting it.

Can a fault code identify the part to replace?+

A code is useful diagnostic information, but it does not always identify a single failed part. We verify the cause before recommending replacement.
